KCAFC recently received the first tranche of pitch maintenance funding from the Football Foundation. As you know KCAFC secured much needed pitch investment funding over the next six years. This money will be solely used for pitch maintenance and enhancements.
The works will commence this season and works to the pitches at Hervines Park, Barn Meadow and ATFC training ground will all benefit from some much needed “TLC.”
Improved drainage, slitting, scarification, weeding, overseeding and other such measures will be carried out by Amersham Town Council and other subcontractors.
Our own KCAFC Grounds Liaison Officer Perry Scott will be managing the delivery of these works to ensure the money spent is focused on theses pitches.
We are hopeful that over time with these works and investment, the pitches will provide a better playing surface and overall experience for the KCAFC teams.
